Požega is an excellent destination in the continental part of Croatia. Požega’s Golden Valley is surrounded on all sides by beautiful old mountains consisting of Psunj, Papuk, Krndija, Dilj and Požeška Gora. In addition to the beautiful nature with which it is surrounded, Požega is adorned with various sights that are worth visiting.
In addition to numerous historical and cultural sights, Požega also offers numerous activities such as various fishing opportunities, tasting traditional dishes and drinks or enjoying the beautiful view from Sokolovac. Sokolovac is a hill with a beautiful view of the entire city and the surrounding mountains. Also, on Sokolovac there is a “Sokola Trail” that leads to the Holy Trinity Square crowned with 16 educational boards about the flora, fauna and history of this part of town.
